Happy Birthday to my Ava Baby!

Three years old tomorrow!

Flashback photos. Ava through the years, all three of them so far.

A couple minutes old. Would you believe her hair was dark brown under that cap?

At four months old. Still one of my favorite photos ever.

At one. She still loves that thumb.

Right around two, I just love her eyes, the color, the shape, so pretty.

At three! Hopefully, I'll have some better pictures soon. :)

Love her to pieces, her sweet personality, her laugh, smile, the way she says "mama, kiss you?" she just makes my heart melt. More than makes up for that stubborn little streak she has.

By the way, she hates it when I call her Ava Baby "I'm not a baby, I'm a big girl!" Can't help it though, she's still my baby. Always will be.

A few favorites and some ramblings.

Alexa had her final t-ball game tonight. :( She loved playing and can't wait until next year. She really improved over the 10 games. I have a bunch of new pics (of course, right?) and I just need to edit and then I can load them up. The end of the year picnic is next month.

I'm taking most of next week off. We hope to hit the zoo and then up to Caseville for the long weekend.

Ava turns 3 on Tuesday. I'm in denial.

A couple of favorite layouts I haven't posted here. The first two are just random layouts created from my enormous stash.

These layouts were created using the June Apron Strings Bigger than a Breadbox kit. Loved it! I can't wait to get more of this fab Lily Bee paper.

I really need to learn how to add a slide show.

And I really need to go to bed.

Stop. Taking. My. Picture.

I think that's what she's trying to tell me.

She's still cute though.

Be back soon, my computer is not happy with me, so I think I better save and close for the night!

Nature's calling.

No, not for me. The *&*^$#$ birds outside my window. At 5 AM every day. Fabulous. I don't know what kind of birds, I don't know what they are singing/calling/chirping for. Not sure I care. But, considering I live on 3.5 acres, does it have to occur 5 feet from my bedroom window? I think not. Each and every morning, I get a rousing wake-up call from my flighty friends. It is not desired at all. Closing the window... not much help.

One can only hope they find their soul mates and fly on to a nice, fluffy nest FAR from my window. Soon. I'm a crabby woman without my sleep. Take John's word for it.

Busy, busy week.

If I didn't have my first CPR class of the season to teach on Friday, I would seriously consider calling in.
Our after work schedule:
Monday - t-ball
Tuesday - my softball game
Wednesday - t-ball
Thursday - my softball game
Friday - father's day/Tom's b-day at Tom and Jan's

Oy. This does not include the unexpected, required ASAP, brake job for my car. I swear we just replaced those things a year and a half ago. Cheap replacement parts.

On the plus, I get to post my ASD June kit projects soon. June kits start shipping on June 12, and the newsletter goes live on the 15th. Good stuff in the "big" kit.

I'm looking forward to the weekend.

Miss You, Mom.

October 8, 1947 - June 3, 2004.

Much too soon. Missed just as much as the first day. I cannot believe it's been 5 years.
